• Working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective geological information & technical advice • Providing coaching and feedback to direct reports and wider geology/geotechnical team • Providing peer review support to on-going projects around site. • Driving continuous improvement in current processes and help the mine to achieve their goals • Constructing short-term geological models/surfaces and communicating with all the stakeholders • Responsible for coal reconciliations for the month, actual (survey) against model predicted. • Planning and capturing of gamma logged borehole for short-term modelling.

• Mentor, support and provide opportunities for professional development for the Exploration Geologist and Mine Geologist to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. • Supervision and training of underground geological team members and duties including day-to-day underground data gathering processes, QA/QC on data collected, using data to inform short-term mine planning. • Ensuring a high level of safety is being met with all geological activities, surface as well as underground. • Effective communication of technical information to the Management team as well as other stakeholders such as geotechnical engineers. • Design of exploration programmes and interpretation of the results. • Produce geological hazard interpretations as required. • Contribute to accurate and timely resource modelling and interpretation. • Managing grade control, model estimation, and depletion in conjunction with the resource geologist. • Consistent communications to key stakeholders with respect to geological grade, model, and plan predictive performance. • Provide information to Exploration Geologist that assists with exploration operations (e.g. hole predictions). Provide feedback when program objectives have been achieved. • Support the leadership team and Technical Services Manager with the preparation of operational reports and presentations. • Identify procedural and process gaps and participate in or initiate ongoing process improvements • Provide support to tenement consultant as required i.e provision of maps and diagrams for field exploration activity, reports and presentations and information on exploration projects as requested.

• Ensure sound and consistent geological & geotechnical principles are applied in all Sojitz mine plans and schedules throughout the mines in the Sojitz group. • Assist in formation of coal mining schedule, short range forecasts, yearly budgets and LOM planning. • Provided geological and geotechnical support and guidance to meet the production requirements, across all Sojitz assets, including but not limited to: o Advise on coal quality matters o Coal quality results and testing. o Support and advice to Drill & Blast team on pre-production drilling ( • Ensure delivery of all planning and forecasts as required for geotechnical and geological work. • Develop budgets for exploration, geology and geotechnical. • Manage the development (as required) and maintenance of all Sojitz geological databases and geological modelling requirements, including regular updates based on exploration and pre-production data (geological logs, LAS, survey data, etc). • Periodical update and exporting of geological database models and produce monthly/ as required merged model updates, with latest mined survey pick-ups for mine planning & scheduling requirements. • Participate and conduct risk assessment and hazards identification, particularly for exploration activities and geotechnical support, including maintenance of Geotechnical Principal Hazard Management Plans (PHMP) and respective Geotechnical registers for all sites. • Lease Renewal and Expenditure reports for DNRE. • Cooperate with teams and others to obtain an optimal solution for projects and operations. • Initiate, develop and implement geological and geotechnical policies, standards and strategies to facilitate best practice, continuous improvement and legal compliance.

Providing technical expertise and mentorship to geology team including training and developing junior personnel Maintain, manage and recording of all geological data relating to short- and medium-term planning Assist in formation of coal mining schedule, short range forecasts and yearly budgets Review mining designs to ensure stability and strata controls align with the Principal Hazard Management Plan. Overseeing and leading an effective grade control and mining strategy, ensuring appropriate dilution controls Coordinating and supervising product blending and stockpiling procedures for marketing and shipping requirements Coordinating geological mapping, development and continuous improvement of grade control models Ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation from pit to CHPP Liaising with wider technical services personnel to ensure optimal mine planning and production Manage geophysics / wireline loggers and the external geotechnical consultant
