As Student Rep, one's responsibility is to act as a liaison between the year group and the staff, as well as to act a link between the student union and the student cohort. In this role I attend multiple meetings each term, as well as encouraging more informal problem solving with members of staff continuously throughout the year.

I was responsible for assessing the environmental performance of businesses, and the potential for further improvement through the RE100 programme.

A student mentoring position for the benefit of 1st year Renewable Energy and Mining Engineering students. Weekly sessions had to be planned, and carried out, with flexibility and confidence to respond to specific student queries. Developed communcation, confidence, organisational, and social skills.

Kumon is a supplemtary education class for children studying Maths and English. I developed skills relating to two linked subjects - team management and teaching skills. The work typically included marking Maths and English work, teaching children educational concepts in one-on-one sessions, assessing development and understanding, reporting to management during work and team meetings.
