- Support the planning, execution, and instrumentation of electronic and mechanical engineering tests. - Assist R&D department setting up chassis and engine dynamometers as needed for testing prototypes, customer’s vehicles and returns, new and current products. - Lead and supervise operators, inspectors and technicians to ensure day-to-day optimum production objectives. - Evaluate and validate outsourced material and prototypes from associated companies and overseas suppliers. - Create pick and place software programs for SMT machines. - Conduct critical thinking analysis to resolve product deficiencies for our clients. - Feedback customer service personnel regarding questions of product-vehicle fitment and vehicle technical specifications for customized installations. - Propose design modifications based on defective items returned from customers or failures during production. - Generate corrective action reports for quality control purposes. - Supervise pilot runs in the SMT department upon new product approval. - Maintenance and repair of SMT machines, including printed circuit board, pick & place machines and ovens. - Create layouts and test procedures for operators and inspectors. - Provide status and advisory services to supervisors, senior engineers and senior program managers on problems, and new projects in the manufacturing and R&D departments. - Advice manufacture and quality management for process improvements based on defects found throughout the assembly lines and customer feedback. - Recommend software updates on existing products as needed after pilot runs and initial tests, and customer’s needs. - Create, and revise user instructions of new and current products. - Test-drive company’s project vehicles to ensure functionality of new products for final approval. - Installation of prototypes and existing products on race and street driven vehicles of trustworthy clients for ongoing reliability test.

- Onsite support service for Panasonic SMT machines in North America. - Utilize electronics engineering principles and concepts to apply standard engineering practices, methods, and techniques to achieve a various engineering assignments. - Worldwide technical assistance support. - Install, configure, operate, maintain, repair or modify customer equipment or software. - Provide high level of maintenance to Panasonic SMT machines, to include calibration, refurbish, software upgrades, among other general maintenance services. - Highly trained on operational, preventive maintenance and software for Panasonic SMT machines. - Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine cause and recommends and/or performs corrective action. - Create pick and place software programs for Panasonic SMT machines. - Provide costumer with part numbers, manuals, information of latest products available in the market as well as formal quotations of the items requested. - Respond to emergency calls for service on a call-out basis and work outside normal business hours as needed. - Maintain communication with customer to ensure understanding of status, cost, and timing of all aspects of the service event. - Installation, configuration, upgrades and trouble shoots hardware and software components. - Collaborate with, production, quality, and management, to set up and meet schedules and other customer requirements. - Perform equipment inspections, make equipment repairs and troubleshoot equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner. - Monthly tracking and inventorying of calibration tools used by Field Service Engineers. - Coordinate installations with sales department and client as required. - Technical guidance acknowledged from Senior Service Engineers.

- Manage logistical duties for over 20 operators. - Responsible for the proper training of specialized technicians and operators regarding panel defects. - Leadership in analysis and repair of material that is returned from client. - English-Spanish translator from Japanese engineers to technicians and operators. - Monitor defects, root cause analysis, counter-measure applications, immediate actions and results for specific problems. - Able to solve production problems, and transfers of material, work under pressure and excellent skills in scrap criteria. - Perform flowcharts, layouts, instruction sheets, quality alerts and manufacture manuals applications. - Knowledge of standard ESD practices. - Manage and supervise high quantity of material transfers for productivity effectiveness in a timely manner.
