● Responsible for procuring material and awarding contracts to meet plant maintenance, production & expansion needs while supporting strategic and operating objectives ● Negotiate to obtain the best pricing by identifying multiple suppliers/contractors and executing a thorough pre-negotiation plan ● Work closely with vendors and legal team to negotiate multi-year blanket contract pricing and terms. ● Analyze current market trends, supporting market information and previous order history to exceed departmental goals ● Construct detailed price analysis and forecast of material/equipment to further develop cost reduction opportunities ● Work closely with top management (VP, Directors, Supervisors) to discuss and meet project target requirements ● Coordinate with vendors, end users, legal team & accounting to effectively resolve any conflicts arising from issuance of purchase orders ● Collaborate with engineering team to confirm technical scope meets specifications and budgetary requirements ● Prepare reports to track spending, savings, compliance and other metrics data on a monthly basis ● Share techniques, analysis & content created with other team members to constantly improve negotiation strategies

Work with the content collection team to complete various projects as needed ● Analyze, compile, and create market sentiment data for clients to use through the Bloomberg terminal ● Web crawl websites and create jobs to be tested in beta before committing the jobs to production in the Bloomberg Terminal ● Analyze financial statements and discern their validity for company and client use ● Data mining and analysis on company details and trends to map company news to Bloomberg terminal to deliver financial news faster than our competitors ● Identified web link patterns of companies listed on Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 ● Quality control analysis on information of private companies received from external vendors to be added to terminal with minimum 98% passer rating, insuring quality and accuracy of data ● Daily quality control checks including reviewing, updating, and maintaining existing database of financial news information to insure accuracy of previously processed data ● Use web crawling program to extract annual, interim, and quarterly corporate statement data from various company websites for the firm and client use ● Perform troubleshooting procedures on web crawler jobs to make them run properly again for future use ● Assist clients inquiries by fulfilling requests for custom web crawler orders ● Collaborate with the Fundamentals Team to combine certain reports from numerous company websites in order to reduce the amount of times the running job is hitting the site ● Utilize Bloomberg’s proprietary software to set up automated collection routines while adhering to strict quality check standards ● Examine rejected collection jobs, identify issues and correct jobs with a rejection report. If needed, contact analyst regarding rejection and arrive at a universal solution ● Analyze financial spreadsheet data and perform sentiment analysis
