Canadian biotech entrepreneur and Co-Founder & CEO of N-Zyme Biomedical, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing what is believed to be the world’s first pepsin inhibitor for reflux disease.My work is focused on advancing innovative therapies for laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), airway reflux, and other reflux-related disorders through a novel drug repurposing strategy involving fosamprenavir and pepsin inhibition.My journey into biotechnology became deeply personal after experiencing reflux disease firsthand, which ultimately led me into the scientific research surrounding pepsin and to collaborating with Dr. Nikki Johnston and her work at the Medical College of Wisconsin.Prior to N-Zyme Biomedical, I founded HaluGen Life Sciences, one of the first genetic-based psychedelic pre-screening platforms, which was later acquired by Entheon Biomedical in a multimillion-dollar transaction.I also founded GENNCO Holdings, where I worked with emerging growth companies across biotechnology, health technology, and capital markets.Over the past decade, I have been involved in:• Biotechnology and health-tech company building• Capital raising and investor relations• Clinical-stage strategy and commercialization• Strategic partnerships and corporate development• Public markets and growth financingUnder my leadership, N-Zyme Biomedical has advanced toward Phase 2 clinical development while securing patent coverage across major global markets including the United States and Japan.I’m passionate about building companies that combine scientific innovation, real-world impact, and long-term vision to help improve human health and quality of life.
