The Umm Lafina project is part of Abu Dhabi’s urban structure framework plan called Plan Abu Dhabi 2030, which aims to address the issues related to land use, environment, transportation, open spaces and development of the capital city that are caused by population and economic growth. The government will undertake a number of projects in these areas based on principles identified in the plan. Umm Lafina project details The Umm Lafina project will begin at Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street near the Al Bateen Airport, traverse Umm Lafina Islands and connect to the Al Reem island. “The Umm Lafina project is part of Abu Dhabi’s urban structure framework plan called Plan Abu Dhabi 2030.” It will include construction of five bridges, including two iconic bridges from Abu Dhabi Island to the southern part of the Umm Lafina Island. Pedestrian and cycling lanes, along with other facilities such as bike rental shops will also be developed to create an integrated road project.

Natuzzi,is a leading in the production of sofas and living rooms, 5,500 employees, publicly traded on Wall Street, with a turnover of 750.00 million EURO in 2006. Since 1996, in cooperation with the Engineering Department, I followed all the investments which allowed Natuzzi to triple its production capacity. My area of responsibility has gone from the search and selection of General Contractors to the choice of materials and equipment necessary for the construction of basic facilities, the purchase of automation systems, handling and storage, including machinery and related technology production system in relation to the construction of foreign plants of the group, in Brazil, Romania and China. From 1998 to 2000 I was also responsible of the purchases of some raw materials such as metal components,fasteners, nets, mattresses, cushions, semi-finished wood and all the packaging sector facing with all business areas involved in the production (quality, research and development, engineering, materials, manufacturing, logistics, process technologies, production engineering, communication). I have always been in charge of purchases related to exhibitions and to the supply of services (cleaning, fixed and mobile telephony, fleet business, professional advice of any kind, hardware and software, marketing and communications, energy, gas, phone, etc. disposal). Since the beginning of 2001, in view of an ambitious project to strengthen the brand Natuzzi, I was entrusted with the responsibility of purchases intended for Retail, materials and services for staging of all outlets DIVANI&DIVANI in Italy and the Natuzzi Stores and Galleries ( department stores) abroad, according to a plan of development that has led to the creation of over 565 flagship stores (in June 2005). Since September 2001, I was appointed as Head of the whole area extra production purchases and coordinating a team of seven specialized buyers, I managed a total annual budget of around 100 million euros
