AC Industrials is Ayala's holding company for its investments in industrial technology. This new subsidiary builds on the collective strengths of Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc., a pioneering manufacturer in the Philippines and one of the largest (based on revenues) automotive EMS provider worldwide, and AC Motors, the country's largest multi-brand dealership group and a leading Philippine vehicle distributor carrying Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Maxus, Volkswagen and KTM. With the exponential growth of the AC Industrials portfolio, I was seconded by IMI to the business as Group Head of Human Resources and reporting to President & CEO Arthur R. Tan.

Responsible for the operational performance, standardization, governance, compliance and cost of the HR Operations for fifteen countries within Asia and Pacific. Member of the “HR of the Future” Global Advisory Board. Member of the Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos area executive board ad interim.

Member of the management board and General Manager of Human Resources for seven legal entities. He leads all HR facets including compensation & benefits, talent management, recruitment, HRIS and HR partnering. Provides strategic HR advice and coaching to senior leadership.

Responsible for master data and analytics, mobility and relations with international institutions and HR processes and policies at Maersk Line’s largest site worldwide - over 3,000 employees. He established the largest Spanish speaking financial and customer service team in the country with over 200 professionals.

Reporting from headquarters, he is responsible for the review of functional objectives, KPI’s, processes, organizational structure and roles/responsibilities for Maersk’s front line offices obtaining significant efficiencies.

In-charge of the implementation of the recruitment, performance and compensation management SAP/HCM modules for people@maerskLINE for Maersk’s offices in more than 130 countries. 10 global systems were consolidated and yearly savings over USD 3,000,000 were enabled.

Responsible for the development of organizational design in multiple global restructuring projects in collaboration with the business which includes Simplification & Empowerment and GSC 2.0. Provided structural and organizational analyses with focus on the global organization that translated in important savings in administrative costs.

Service Control Manager for the Copenhagen Human Resources Service Centre. Involved in organizational restructuring, process improvements and SAP HCM. Reported on volume, cycle time and cost efficiency analyses to the senior management team. Co-created the compensation strategy for several business units. Set-up processes and products for the new Corporate HR.

Established contact between Danish and German companies to aid in the implementation of common projects, trade fairs and congresses. In Germany assisted investors interested in Denmark and vice versa.

Collected data, coordinated and completed extensive field work in connection to the various research projects in Spain. Actions recommended were subsequently used by the EU and the Spanish Government.

Organised events on behalf of the Spanish Railway Company (RENFE), coordinated international groups and led them through professional and social activities.

Planned and implemented international projects for youngsters at the “Cultural Foundation Riesa Efau” in Dresden, Germany. Recruited and guided new European volunteers for various German organizations.
