Francisco Lima

I am a software engineer with over 15 years of experience developing software for various financial market segments. Currently, I am an associate partner at BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America. I lead a team of over 300 professionals with the mission of contributing to the digital transformation and innovation of the financial sector. I have a solid academic background in computer engineering, economics, and finance, with a master degree from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. I am also certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP. Throughout my career, I have participated in global and complex projects involving different areas and departments of the banking industry, from the back office to the front office. I am experienced in fostering a strong and collaborative engineering culture among teams, with the conviction that the most successful teams combine a solid technical background with a comprehensive understanding of the business context in which their solutions are implemented.
