As a R&D Hardware Technician, I bridge the gap between senior engineering design and manufacturing. My work helps product development cycles by managing documentation and optimizing test solutions, ensuring hardware reliability from prototype to production. Core Responsibilities: -Manage the documentation of PCBs and PCBAs (Gerber, BOM, Assembly) giving technical assistance to Chinese manufacturers and PCBA Italian EMS. -Source, test, and validate alternative components to mitigate supply chain risks and optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) costs. -Perform targeted PCB edits and BOM updates using Altium Designer to support ongoing hardware revisions and improvements. -Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize automated test benches (Ingun-based or not), refining test sequences and parameters for new hardware. -Board to board connectors and wire to board custom wires sourcing, to enhance the reliability of complex test wiring (up to 240 signals) to avoid problems during transport with couriers. -Coordinate the procurement and organization of components and materials for R&D prototypes and test bench development. -Conduct pre-compliance EMC tests (EFT/Burst, Conducted & Radiated Emissions) to validate new DC/DC designs, filtering solutions, and products. -HW bring up and first functional tests -Prototype ordering order and organization of components procurement and consignment through JLCPCB. Key Achievements in This Role: -Led the transition from hand-assembled prototypes to fully outsourced prototype manufacturing (JLCPCB), with components ordering and consignment, significantly accelerating development cycles and preventing useless and long troubleshooting due to not noticed soldering errors -Minimized production errors by making rigorous documentation checks, effectively eliminating reworks.

-Progettazione e realizzazione di sistemi di collaudo manuali, utilizzati per verificare velocemente gli alimentatori led prodotti in TCI -Test di burn-in e collaudo finale pre-spedizione su alimentatori ad alta potenza -Attività di supporto alla produzione, tramite manutenzione e taratura degli strumenti utilizzati nel processo produttivo. Sto acquisendo affidabilità, precisione e attenzione ai dettagli, perchè in questo lavoro un errore può causare problemi di produzione. N.B.: in un "sistema di collaudo manuale" le misure di tensione o corrente vengono visualizzate su un multimetro e l'operatrice verifica, tramite specifica di collaudo, che il parametro risulti corretto

Riparazione degli alimentatori LED scartati durante la procedura di test, tramite: -Collaudo del prodotto per capire quale sia il problema riscontrato -Controllo visivo dell'alimentatore per capire se sono presenti difformità visibili ad occhio nudo -Utilizzo del multimetro per comprendere se sono presenti componenti guasti -Sostituzione del componente danneggiato -Viene collaudato nuovamente il prodotto: se il problema è risolto, il pezzo viene consegnato al reparto di chiusura per chiuderlo nel contenitore plastico, altrimenti, si ripetono i passaggi precedenti fino alla risoluzione definitiva del problema.
