Head: Enterprise Solutions
• Key solutions include Core Banking Solution, National Cash Management (NCMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Digital Transformation (RPA) and Pension Fund Solutions. Key stakeholders are the SARB Financial Department and its stakeholders, National Treasury, state-owned entities, CPD (Corporate for Public Depositors) and other public institutions (Local and International (Cross-Border). • To develop and conceptualize a functional strategy for the division, aligned to the strategy of the Business Solutions and Technology Department. • To provide managerial, technical, and strategic leadership to ensure valid, accurate and timely solutions. • To optimize business processes and enhancing customer and employee experience by addressing inefficiencies across the bank through digitization and introduction of low code methodology i.e. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). • Ensure effective and valued stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders (clients to SARB) as well as (offshore and local) system support partners. This includes attendance to industry meetings and forums to provide feedback. • To manage performance and development of staff, provide technical support and guidance in delivering results through high-performing teams. • Preparation and management of budgets. • Ensure Risk and Compliance standards and policies are set and met through management thereof. • Adherence to laws and regulations applicable to South African Reserve Bank. • Ensure speedy response to SA Government needs to implement urgent relief projects.

SARB Release (Quality) Management

• Formulate and review the quality management framework, procedures, and standards for the department, with specific focus on establishment of the release management processes across the SA Reserve Bank. • Manage relationships with all stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality IT solutions according to the release schedule and policy. • Keep abreast of best practices and developments in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) and ensure continuous improvement. • Lead stakeholder engagements (internal and external), displaying the ability to solicit information as well as deliver a coherent and convincing message.
