Embedded Systems Software Engineer responsible for the design, development and maintenance of real-time embedded software drivers in a multi-tasking pre-emptive Operating System. Experience with: - Ipv4 and Ipv6 - Cable broadband technology including DOCSIS & DAVIC protocols as well as OCAP - Cryptographic conditional access protocols. symmetric (DES) & asymmetric (RSA, Diffie-Helman) keying protocols and hashing function (SHA1,HMAC,MD5). - OpenSSL - CISSP and CCNA certified - Digital Video Recorder driver and Multiroom DVR technology. - TCP/IP protocols (SNMP,DHCP,TFTP etc) - Linux and PowerTV OS programming experience - Multi-Processor Architecture - Various Router Experience (Cisco, Arris, etc) - Packet Generator tools and Protocol Analysers (RF and ethernet) - VM Ware and other Virtual Machine software/configurations - Proficient in C and C++ programming - Experienced in scripting languages, most recently Python. - iOS programming in Objective C and Swift - AWS, vSphere and OpenStack experience - General PC and Network troubleshooting and building.
