Routing Optimization for FedEx - Senior Design project I worked with my capstone project team to help local contractor of FedEx to improve their logistics using optimization techniques and modern software. Project has been chosen as an Industrial Engineering Department winner among the other senior design projects. • Designed more efficient routing, scheduling, and provided better planning for daily deliveries in Beaumont area • Developed an efficient routing system using optimization techniques which automated route planning and resulted in 4.3% in savings (about $20,000 annually)
