1. US Armed Forces Interpreter and Translator Mission Essential Personnel (MEP) Served as an integral member of four US Special Operations Forces’ teams in Helmand, Farah and Herat Provinces, Afghanistan. My performance earned the trust of those I served with where I became the most utilized interpreter on the camp. Serving as a combat interpreter/translator and cultural advisor with the US Armed Forces in Afghanistan, ensuring each team’s success during their operations. Interpreted numerous training events, and key leader engagements between US and Afghan high ranking military/government officials and influential community leaders, resulting in more successful partnering for security, governance and development within Afghanistan. Participated in over 100 combat operations, serving as an interpreter and as a monitor of tactical radios, relaying critical intelligence to the members of the Special Operations team. Assisted US Marines Special Operations Team during a life saving procedure in green on blue attack (insider attack) on US Marines in Farah, Afghanistan. Recognized by each team at the end of their rotation for my invaluable support to the overall mission. 2. Italian Forces Intepreter/Translator Mission Essential Personnel (MEP) Assisted Italian forces in Afghanistan as a senior interpreter for almost a year during which I supervised 12, demonstrated leadership to the junior interpreters, and professionalism led me to opportunities to serve with US Special Operations Forces. Interpreted for several Afghan and Italian High ranking officers, and conducted numerous combat operations with the Italian military forces.

Joined the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) since June 01 2016. NSCS is an honor society inviting high-achieving first- and second-year undergraduates from over 300 colleges and universities across the country, including the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, the University of Michigan, and the University of California, Los Angeles
