Working on a variety of projects in the manufacture of Harrier aircraft to strict Ministry of Defence specifications and inspection standards. · Extensive aircraft structure, fabricating and fitting, using a range of materials and using hand and machine tools to fine tolerances. · Installing and testing aircraft systems including, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Cables, Pulleys and Fuel systems. · Using various plastics and rubber components, involving vacuum forming, injection moulding processes plus minor carbon fibre tasks.

* · Production of Flight plans for British Airways and other customer operations using both British Airways and third party systems. * · Ensuring the timely filing of all ATC flight plans. * · Ensure that the flights are planned to achieve the most cost effective routing, trading off direct operating costs and optimising payload. * · To obtain/negotiate slots to meet on time departures and arrivals. * · Use Knowledge of Aircraft performance to influence tactical decisions on aircraft allocation. * · Liaise with customer departments to ensure the British Airways schedule is delivered in the most efficient manner. * · Assist in training and development of team members to maintain the standards required.
