As the Technical Lead in SRE at Firebolt, I handle roadmap planning, ensure high-quality deliverables, and foster a productive environment for a team of five to perform at their best. I'm part of the Engines Team, where we manage the entire data warehouse lifecycle — from provisioning compute resources and orchestrating workloads to ensuring observability for all customer workloads. Our team oversees global cloud infrastructure on AWS, managing a fleet of several thousand nodes.

As a customer facing DevOps Consultant, I was helping clients to leverage their chosen cloud providers to the fullest and advise and help them with the adoption of new technologies and processes. I was working with clients across EMEA and multiple verticals. • Conduct multi-day DevOps, Application Modernization and Container Enablement workshops with customer teams • Design and implement solutions across all major cloud providers using infrastructure-as-code with a focus on CI/CD and container platforms • Lead cloud native software development and DevOps engineering projects • Technical pre-sales, proposal creation and presentation

As lead engineer I was responsible for the new CRM product, ensuring high-quality technical output of my team and releases on time. As part of the extended leadership team, I was contributing to monthly management meetings and setting quarterly goals, using the OKR framework. • Technical lead for the CRM squad (7 engineers, 06/18 – 03/20) • Technical lead for the referral program squad (5 engineers, 04/18 – 09/18) • Control external team developing Android and iOS mobile applications • Help to grow the engineering team, create guidelines, establish processes and best practices • Conduct regular feedback meetings, yearly assessments and mentoring colleagues • Create an engineering interview process, screen candidates and lead the interview process • Regularly communicate and present the latest features in our company all-hands • Design, implement and maintain backend systems and multiple Angular based frontends
