Electronic Design Software), Sr. SAP Program Director, upgrade of SAP and implementation of BW 2 Synopsys was one of the first adaptors of the SAP 2.0 application when SAP did not have ``Software License revenue and support tracking'' functionalities. When SAP 4.1 was released Synopsys IT wanted to migrate to this version, but was challenged with all the customization and modification done for over 5 years to enhance SAP 2.0 to fit their business. As one of the 3 member of PMO with help of SAP, and Synopsys we were able to identify all changes, and agree on what needs to be migration and what can be removed. SAP was upgraded in 6 months within the budget and timeline. I also managed removal of their existing Data warehouse with SAP BW.

* Managed a $3M project to identify Single Point of Failure (SPOF) in the VMware global network and * remove those with highest impact on the IT uptime services. * Analyzed existing SDLC development infrastructure and proposed a program to install EMC VMX * Storage subsystem and to build 3 additional instances for QA, UAT, and Load Testing with over 140 * servers and 37 applications for each instance. This project was budgeted for $2.1M and completed on * time with project team of 8 FTE resulting in increase bandwidth and speed of IT delivery. * Managed a program to upgrade Production and Stage environments with EMC VMX Storage subsystem * and to increase Oracle RAC nodes for each instance from two to 4 nodes. Project was completed in 3 * steps and budget of $1.8M resulting in no production outage and significant increase in production * uptime. During this project we also replaced 4 EMC DMX SAN and NAS devices with EMC NS120.

IT Program Manager Managed a team of 7 project managers and team of 56 core team members with budget of over $80M to build a new data center in the state of Washington which would be used to consolidate 22 smaller data centers across the US into this new data center offering signification cut on the cost of operation due to cheaper electricity. This program included detail planning for both vendor deliverables as well as in house SMEs from Architectural design to procurement, tracking equipment delivery schedule, installation, and testing. Data center installation included Cisco Nexus switches, HP 7000 chassis/servers, and NetApp NAS and EMC SAN storage hardware.

* Managed Siebel migration from Cupertino data center to a new data center in Arizona. This project * included purchase of hardware, parallel setup and testing, and cutover into a new production data center * and network. Major design requirement included 3 layers of security for the network within the data * center. * Managed development projects for a number infrastructure and Symantec security products such as * Phish Finder'', ``Project X'', ``Star Gate'', and ``Live Subscribe''. These products are all released to * customers and have been in support mode 3 months after their initial release. * Managed ``OASIS'' project when Symantec purchased VERITAS and the two companies were merged. * Project included building a new infrastructure for the Oracle ERP and Data warehouse systems using a * cluster of SUN 25k and 6800 servers as well as EMC Symantec to allow sales, orders, and financial data * to be processed in a single application running in a the new data center.

* As ERP SME and Architect reviewed over 165 systems used at Caltrans and their functionality. * Mapped required applications to SAP and Oracle ERP applications and proposed a new architecture. * Architectural proposal suggested Caltrans to replace all existing application (except 15) with a standard * ERP system. New architecture will reduce risk and cost for the state, and will enable Caltrans to gain * additional functionalities which are needed by the department and their vendors.

* Development Manager severed over eight years in managing a number of software developers and key worldwide * software delivery projects. Main responsibilities included design, development, and delivery of all SAP ABAP/4 * interfaces, conversions, reports, and enhancements to SAP core capabilities. Designed and developed infrastructure * tools such as batch error reporting, file locator, automated batch variant processing, RFC and BDC interfaces between * SAP IBM UNIX RS6000 and legacy systems running on AS400, VAX, Tandem, and Mac platforms. Designed and * developed master and transaction data conversions/flow between SAP and legacy systems as well as both upload and * download capabilities between SAP and Desktop/Mac. Managed integration between the ABAP technical team and the * functional teams, Data Center personal, and Production support teams. Participated and represented Apple at Americas' * SAP Users' Group (ASUG) as technical track manager.

* Manager of MIS/CAD/CAM for semiconductor manufacturing company: Managed selection, negotiation, and * implementation of VAX based Manufacturing and Financial Information Systems, Computer Aided Design System, * and ROLM A8000 base Corporate Telecommunication functions. Planned and implemented a full range of applications * including Manufacturing, Financial, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Sales and Marketing systems. Implemented * purchased packages such as ASK Maxcim and Consilium Comets on time and within the allocated budget. * Additional responsibilities included management of computer operations, long range systems planning, and installation * and support of TCP/IP based network for personal computer hardware (HP, IBM, VAX) and software environments.
