A high-energy entrepreneur and technology executive, Firat is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mount-It!, a global provider of mounting systems, workspace solutions, ProAV infrastructure, and ergonomic technology products serving home, business, healthcare, and commercial AV markets. Since co-founding the company in 2006 with two business school classmates, Firat has led Mount-It! from a garage startup selling early flat-panel TV mounts to a multi-channel hardware brand shipping over 1 million products annually. Today, Mount-It! offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive catalogs of display mounts, sit-stand desks, workspace accessories, medical carts, and ProAV mounting systems, with teams across San Diego, Dallas, and Prince George. A pioneer in ecommerce and marketplace strategy, Firat has built Mount-It! into a dominant direct-to-consumer and omnichannel retail brand, expanding distribution across major platforms including Walmart, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target+, and Wayfair. The company achieved major retail milestones with in-store placement at Walmart, Staples, Office Depot, Meijer and Menards further strengthening its national footprint. Firat also leads Mount-It!’s growing B2B and ProAV divisions, providing commercial mounting solutions, digital signage infrastructure, and dvLED mounting systems for enterprise, corporate, and AV integrator partners. Under his leadership, Mount-It! Pro received a patent for the innovative Zaxxis dvLED mounting system, designed to simplify large-scale video wall deployments. Prior to launching Mount-It!, Firat spent over 13 years at Intuit, where he held leadership roles in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, global supplier management, and enterprise procurement technologies, including ERP, eProcurement, eSourcing, and eAuctions. His experience in global supply chains, operational efficiency, and technology innovation helped shape Mount-It!’s scalable manufacturing and marketplace growth strategy. Today, Firat continues to drive Mount-It!’s mission to deliver innovative, affordable mounting and workspace solutions that support modern technology environments—from home offices to healthcare facilities and enterprise AV deployments.
