I worked in Compliance, the Independence and Ethics Team. Specialised in Perosnal Independence. I was the project leader of the UK firm's Annual Compliance Independence Confirmation process. This involves looking at disclosures disclosed in the confirmations completed by all the partners and staff in the UK firm and apply sanctions where applicable. I also have extensive knowledge in independence in non audit services.

I am in the Independence Training Development Team and Quality Assurnace Team. My role is to help develop independence compliance related training to staff in the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan firms to promote Compliance and Independence across these firms. I have also helped out in annual quality management system review to ensure people in the firm are adhering to internal and external independence policies and procedures, and ensure remediate actions were carried out. Weekly communication with teams in China and Taiwan to catch up where necessary.

Audit semi senior, studied ACA. completed 8 out of 15 exams, had Audit experience in Commercial clients, Pension Scheme (especially Local Council Pensions), Education (especially Universities), Housing Associations, Motor Retailing. I was one of the members of the firm's trainees social media recruitment (Spilling the Beans) team, helping the firm to attract and retain talent.

Placement student. Been in 5 different teams over the year. Accounts Payable: dealing with payment to suppliers, posting journals, payment authorisations Accounts Receivable: dealing with receipts and remittances and the daily cashflow Financial Control: helping the financial controller verified fixed assets and manage the fixed asset register for the hospital and dealing with basic queries from Auditors Management Accounting: dealing with month end budget and in charge of reconciliations of income from hospital accommodations Performance Management: helping to manage and reconcile income from the private healthcare company and verify patients details to ensure accurate records and payment I have also had experience in LEAN.
