My title was 'Senior Software Engineer'. My responsibility was data processing of hundreds of thousands of vehicles per day, to verify the measurements of infringements. I wrote the data analysis software to achieve this and oversaw the processing of the data which was required to be processed and returned within 24 hours.

I am responsible for everything my clients want to keep their website running smoothly. My focus is on designing custom made database web applications, but I will do everything down to setting up domain names, hosting, as much or as little as my clients want.

At Future Business Systems I was a C application programmer and my role was to make new programs or add improvements to existing programs, usually for additional functionality, but also bug fixing. The software methodology here was internally referred to as 'spaghetti code' providing valuable experience in 'what on earth is this doing' type situations, and an excellent example of how not to write code. The documentation methodology at FBS followed the 'Why Bother' method, which was fantastic for writing code, but had drawbacks mainly to do with understanding existing code. The people here were great to work with and have a high level of knowledge within their respective fields.
