Corporate Trainer - Power Platform - AI Solutions - SQL - Data Science - 365 @ ExplainiT - Trainingen & User Adoption
About
I guide people through unfamiliar territory. As a certified ANVR tour guide I learned that complex environments become accessible when you know how to explain them. I now apply that same principle to Data & AI. I help organisations make sense of complex IT — through training, adoption programmes and hands-on consultancy. Whether it's SQL Server, Power BI or AI tools: I make it stick. MSc Computer Science. Microsoft Certified Trainer. Based in the Netherlands, worked across China, Malaysia, Belgium and Italy. Oh, and the name? Saxophone + SQL. Jazz taught me that structure and improvisation aren't opposites. Neither are complexity and clarity. Portfolio, Experience, Testimonials: saxsql.com

Owner, ANVR certified tour guide
Laoshan Travel
Worldwide
As of May 2014 I started my own travel company where I offer the following services: - Designing custom made travel itineraries based on the customers personal wishes and preferences - Arranging and carrying out all the necessary practical tasks regarding flights or other forms of transport to and from the desired destination, local transport, accommodation, excursions, local guides, restaurant reservation and so on. To go short: everything that can be arranged prior to departure. - Hiring me as their personal tour guide during the customers holiday / journey. In this case I am your personal guide from the moment of departure at the airport until the moment you will return home. My responsibility divides up in two parts. Firstly, as your personal tour guide, I will be your 'beacon of knowledge" during the full length of your journey. Subjects include: history, religion, customs, food tradition, nature, wildlife, local habits, basic skills of the native language and so on, Secondly, I will be your facilitator once we've arrived at your destination. You don't have to think about how to get somewhere, where to sleep that night, what time you need to get back without having to worry about any dangers. I've got it covered for you. Just sit back, relax and enjoy your holiday. This includes all the arrangements needed regarding transport (planes, trains, tuktuks etc), accommodation (check in and out in house facilities), excursions, local markets, shopping, restaurants (recommendations, transport to and from these places) and so on. My services apply to the following countries: Australia (incl Fiji), Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, China (Shandong & Zhejiang), Greece, Italy, Spain and Czech Republic. The countries that are covered within this service include only those countries that I have been travelling extensively to over the last 20 years. That is why I can offer a wide range of services and knowledge about these countries, because I have obtained it firsthand.

Head Instructor Web Development & Educational Consultant
Status 200 Coding Bootcamp 2024
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Together with Karel van Zijl I've designed and delivered a web development coding bootcamp for refugees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The goal of this bootcamp is to empower refugees from a variety of countries with technical skills (web development) to kickstart their career as a junior developer and being able to support their family with a steady income. The bootcamp was sponsored by Octa, who made it possible to offer this bootcamp without hefty costs involved for the participants. We've developed a full course curriculum from scratch for this bootcamp which was set up in three stages. Content covered are computer science fundamentals, programming basics, basic data structures, web dev tools / languages / libraries (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Node.JS/React.JS) including a strong focus on back-end solutions with databases/SQL as a main component. We've used XAMPP web server to practice and MySQL to build a dedicated webshop at the end of stage 2. Check out the Status 200 website for more details and if you're interested in sponsoring this bootcamp for future editions!

We are very pleased with the content, facilities and organization of the training. All went perfectly fine and knowledge-wise even exceeded our expectations. I had to skip the last day due to the meetings I had at work and didn’t manage to fill in the valuation form. If possible, I’d like you to pass our thanks you and highest “mark” of our instructor Ferry Kemperman! He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, fun and interactive! We all agreed on that.
