• Overseeing & coordinating various aspects of mining operations, with a focus on production, safety, equipment fleet utilization, fatigue monitoring, pit cameras, data entries, system building (e.g., Mine Map), and geotechnical radar systems. This role requires a keen understanding of mining processes, excellent organisational skills, & the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: • Assistance with the execution of the 24 hour mine & maintenance plans • Maximise equipment productivity and efficiency by the accurate and timely reporting of maintenance issues • Evaluate continuously the data accuracy and integrity in the system • Interact with the system to monitor and record operation of equipment statuses • Monitor and action information provided by tyre management systems, weather applications and monitor the maintenance status of machines • Prioritising competing demands - phone, two way and in-office communication • Understand the correct procedures in case of critical failures in the system and associated applications • Ensure the integrity of the mine model (road network, locations, equipment etc.) • Minimise shift delays and normal maintenance delays (fuelling, operator change out)

•Provide clean, accurate data for operational monitoring and business decision making. •Deliver the production schedule in accordance with the plan (with operational teams) •Develop and foster positive relationships with our site operations, including travel to our mine sites •Monitor compliance with control operational benchmarks and reduce variance •Collaborate across teams to implement improvement initiatives • Manage and optimise Barrick Lumwana Truck fleet to support and improve safety, production and cost outcomes for the business •Monitor and manage the mining fleet in real-time using Hexagon FMS, assigning tasks, tracking equipment, and ensuring accurate data capture for production reporting. •Configure shift models, perform system checks, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity. •Optimise mining activities by coordinating with operators, supervisors and other department stakeholders, adjusting routes, and responding to delays or breakdowns to minimise idle time. •Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and compliance checks, ensuring all fleet movements align with site protocols. •Update and maintain accurate FMS data, using reports and KPIs (haul cycles and equipment utilisation) to optimise mining operations. •Collaborate with mining production supervisors and support teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: - Advise and provide recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities in work processes - Planning and design of traffic change management for the Sentinel Pit - Performing mining compliance checks on load and haul, drilling and blasting i.e QAQC - Encouraging tramming truck operators to utilize the trolley so as to help the company 1) Save on the cost of fuel; 2) Improve cycle time i.e. technically reducing cycle time to achieve many haul cycles per shift; 3) Reduce the emission of green house gases into the atmosphere; 4) Prolonging diesel engine life. - Understanding planning of drill and blast patterns, costs associated with losses and suggesting best practices for optimisation of Ground Engaging Tools (GET) - Ramps and Haul Roads construction with respect to QAQC to ensure competent, smooth, and cambered haul roads at correct gradient - Trolley System: Trolley Haul Road maintenance, Trolley Infrastructure maintenance, pantograph components and maintenance, Dispatch trolley monitoring system - Trolley usage optimisation: Live monitoring of trolley utilization and availability, review and report causes of poor usage promptly, participate in trolley improvement projects - Pit operations optimisation - Load and Haul: Non - travel time KPIs optimisation, travel time KPIs, shift change optimisation, identifying traffic flow pinch points, traffic flow and management - Memos - Optimisation Reports - weekly: Weekly Performance Report and Weekly Safety Report - Optimisation Report - Monthly: Crew Performance Report, Monthly Performance Report and Business Review Report

Key Responsibilities: • Ground support audit • Adherence to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures, and regal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and MR 215 sub regulation (2) • Getting safety and job instructions from the Shift Boss i.e. from surface, before going u/g • Coordinate for materials, that is from surface before proceeding underground • Checking the blasting schedule document and signing it off • Synchronize the wrist watch at the shaft before proceeding u/g to avoid conducting blasting outside the blasting schedule's time frame or at a wrong time • Deliver safety slogan at the waiting place u/g • Checking for correct PPE, home injuries, sickness, drunkenness • Be the first person to enter the working place or section with the accompany of at least one or two subordinates or helpers • Declaring the working area safe by ensuring enough ventilation and other safety elements such as barring down where loose rocks exist • Preparation of the face or an end for drilling by ensuring ventilation, conduct SLAM, wash and bar down, pick up to solid, ensure support, treat misfire, open drainage, pump out sockets and plug them, establish direction and grade line i.e. by sighting, mark an end, drilling instructions • Also performed any other task as directed by my supervisor

- Ensuring that workplace safety and explosives handling, storage and transport procedures and regulations are followed. - Planning and giving instructions for the lay out, depth and diameter of the blast holes - Checking depth and cleanliness of blast holes - Determining quantity and type of explosives to be used - Loading explosives into blast holes - Assembling, or directing other workers to assemble, primer charges using detonators and explosive cartridges, and attaching electrical wires, fuses and detonating cords to primers. - Connecting wires, fuses and detonator cords into series, testing electrical circuits especially 'blasting cable' and repairing malfunctions, and connecting series to blasting machines or rather blasting cable' to the exploder and blast or fire i.e. from the blasting point - Covering charges, filling blast holes with rock dust, sand and other materials, and tamping or stemming material to compact charges - Ensuring that all explosives are detonated, and reporting and attending to misfires - Declaring blast areas safe before and after detonation of explosives - Compiling and maintaining records about usage of explosives in compliance with laws and regulations

• Logging in and out of Log Book in the Shift Boss Office to ensure 'safe mining' • Supervise underground diamond drilling • Advise on the type of drill bit to be used with respect to or depending on the ground formation e.g. high series for soft ground while low series for hard rock formation • Diamond drilling site inspections • Drill core sampling • Planning and Optimisation of mine machinery • Supervision of labour and ensure safety and health of men and equipment • Mining safety and ground control • Safety of men and equipment • Ensuring that drilling and blasting operations are conducted as per lied mining regulations • Planning and optimisation of labour and equipment in order to meet a development i.e. exploration and evaluation holes-diamond drilling target of 2,000 metre per month • Performed any other task deemed feet and as directed by my supervisor

- Familiarization with general u/g truckless mining operations using sublevel open stoping and cut and fill mining methods - Appreciation of rock mechanics, mine planning, mine survey, mine geology mine ventilation and mine transportation and materials handling systems, drilling and blasting - Effective supervision: To observe work according to the mine plans for the particular day - Analysis of the productivity of mining equipment: This included knowing the equipment size, the bucket capacities, determination of the fuel factors, the fill factors and the cycle time - Geological knowledge of the mineralization of the Konkola Copper Mines Plc - Underwent a thorough Graduate Development Program and obtained a Blasting Licence for All Mining Operations (AMO)
