* In this role my duties included: * Management of the day to day underwriting of the bank’s new business * Ensure strict adherence to set guidelines on business placement and policy issuance * Negotiate competitive terms and analyse quotations from underwriters on new business * Ensure new business premiums are collected and endorsements are done in a timely manner * Provide regular reporting on expected vs. received premiums on new business * Ensure timely issuance of policy documents and cancellation of policies

* In this role my duties included: * Carrying out daily balancing of the branch treasury account and reporting daily on cash balances * Routinely servicing the branch ATMs to ensure they are efficiently running at all times * Repatriation and acquisition of cash to and from central bank and other branches * Supply all tellers in the branch with daily cash and receiving excess cash throughout the day * Maintaining clean and updated branch cash records
