Felecia Fisher-Shamu
Principal @ Vitality Furniture Manufacturing & Event Rental
About
Felecia Fisher-Shamu is a rare find in Los Angeles’ competitive furniture manufacturing industry. As the CEO and Co-founder of Vitality Casegoods, Restorations, and Furniture Manufacturing, Inc., Felecia is a respected design and manufacturing source of custom furnishings. In fact, many view her as a creative visionary and a renaissance woman. Felecia began her career in hospitality by developing relationships with engineering and housekeeping departments in various hotels in Santa Monica and Los Angeles. As a female in the furniture manufacturing industry, Felecia has made an impressive mark in the world of restoration, furniture design, and furniture manufacturing. Her journey, like most, came with challenges. But she overcame them with perseverance, talent, and a team of experienced craftsmen. Driven by a vision to succeed, her work has been displayed in various luxury brand properties in the United States, Anguilla, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. Respected among tastemakers, Felecia has worked on sustainable projects with Google and the Aria Hotel Las Vegas; A-list red carpet extravaganzas for NAACP Image Awards, Daytime Emmys, Oscar Galas, most notably for the VIP gala honoring Academy award-winning fashion designer Ruth Carter of the worldwide box office sensation, “Black Panther; and extravagant destinations such as MGM properties, Marriott’s, and the Westin Bonaventure of the Ritz-Carlton Hotels. She continued to deliver at a high level under the adverse conditions of the pandemic. Contacts poured in from the ultra-modern SOFI Stadium’s Owner’s Club (home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers), Loews St. Louis Live Hotel, the Circa Hotel, and Casino in Las Vegas. These contracts and others demonstrate Vitality’s resilience. Vitality was instrumental in restoring antiques from Paris for the Lumière Restaurant located in the newly refurbished Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Felecia has always had a passion for restoring and duplicating antiques. Earlier in her career, she restored several antiques for the Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills.
