-- Oversee Ambys human hepatocyte cell therapy research and cell engineering platforms, responsible for strategy, budget, and implementation of the project timelines in preclinical settings -- Supervise development of human hepatocyte genetic / non-genetic ex vivo engineering technologies -- Project Team Lead of two next-generation cell therapy projects for future pipeline; responsible for project goals, timelines, and organizing routine cross-functional project meetings -- Oversee collaborations with Pharmacology, Bioanalytical and Process Development -- Member of the Cell Therapy core team that supervises the pre-IND submission of Ambys human hepatocyte cell therapy and makes high-level go/no-go decisions -- Represent Ambys Research to manage external collaborations and communications with scientific advisors, KOLs, and consultants

-- Oversaw discovery and translational research of Ambys Cell Therapy -- Focused on developing next-generation cell therapy projects based on human hepatocyte cell therapy and genome engineering technologies -- Project Team lead responsible for designing and optimization of innovative and differentiated allogeneic human hepatocyte cell therapy projects (e.g., hypoimmunogenic human hepatocytes, therapeutically enhanced human hepatocytes) -- Represented the research team on company meetings and discussions with external collaborators, CROs, and consultants/advisors -- Lead inventor of two filed patents of Ambys cell engineering technologies

-- Built the Cell Therapy discovery team and recruited 3 direct reports -- Supervised multiple discovery projects supporting both Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy projects -- Led the collaboration with Ambys Gene Therapy, designed and performed multiple gain- and loss-of-function human genome screenings aiming for novel gene target discovery -- Principal investigator of Cell Therapy preclinical in vivo studies -- Major contributor for Ambys human hepatocyte cell therapy pre pre-IND submission (INTERACT meeting) with FDA

-- Investigated genetic pathways underlying neurodegenerative and neuromuscular disorders -- Functioned as the Biology Lead of one of the first internal developed therapeutic projects targeting cellular homeostasis for neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders -- Collaborated with diverse function groups within the company and external scientific collaborators -- Built genetic cellular models by gene editing technologies for drug screening and lead compound optimization -- Managed CRO partners and supported high-throughput screening campaign for novel therapeutic leads
