Federico Moro

Federico Moro received a Laurea degree in Electrical Engineering (2003), a Ph.D. in Bioelectromagnetics and Electromagnetic Compatibility (2007), and a BSc in Mathematics (2012) at the University of Padova. He is qualified as Industrial Engineer since 2003. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor (09/E1-Elettrotecnica) in 2021. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Physics Department at Swansea University, Wales (UK), in 2005, and a Visiting Professor at G2ELab, Grenoble, in 2020. He was a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Padova, from 2007 to 2010, and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the same university from 2010 to 2020. Since 2005 he teaches in courses of Electrical Engineering at the University of Padova, where he currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering (SSD ING-IND/31). His research interests include multi-physics modelling, computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic compatibility, and energy storage. He is author or co-author of over 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings on these topics. The following research lines are investigated: • Numerical/analytical methods for solving multiphysics problems; • Numerical/analytical methods for electromagnetic compatibility analysis; • Innovative electromagnetic formulations for analyzing fields and circuits; • Modeling and simulation of electromagnetic devices; • Electrochemical Energy storage (EES)
