As a Co-Founder of AMFREE, I lead Innovation and Development to create a new generation of additive manufacturing machines using cutting-edge technologies, making them accessible to non-specialists and all players in the metal industry. At AMFREE, we focus on creating intuitive and sustainable solutions for the production of large-scale, high-value metal parts. Our patented technology enables incredible speeds and multidirectional deposition, with real-time control and adjustment of process parameters to perfectly match material properties and part geometry. This ensures extreme reliability, quality, and precision.

Digital and Intelligent Manufacturing Lead

At IREPA LASER, I led the integration and optimization of cutting-edge technologies into the machines and workshop to drive the company as a model of digital industry. My role included managing the connectivity of our state-of-the-art LASER equipment, process control and data analysis, designing and implementing advanced monitoring and control systems using novel technologies and AI. In addition, I actively contributed to the launch of AMFREE, a startup that aims to commercialize a turnkey solution for additive manufacturing of large metal parts.

At BeAM Machines, later acquired by AddUp, I led several R&D projects focused on improving the reliability, robustness, and monitoring capabilities of the Directed Energy Deposition (DED) additive manufacturing process. My responsibilities included the development of advanced control systems integrating technologies such as cameras, pyrometers, photodiodes, and custom powder flow sensors. I also worked to improve laser energy distribution and power control to optimize the performance of BeAM's DED process. In addition, at the end of my journey at AddUp, I managed large collaborative projects and led the R&D efforts for DED machine technology.

At BeAM Machines, I was responsible for the design and development of an innovative system that allows for the automatic calibration of the laser beam, powder beam, and their alignment within BeAM's additive manufacturing machines.
