The project to work on was the FIBO-program (Finland's International Business Operations) initiated by prof. Reijo Luostarinen; researching the operations of Finland-based international and global companies. Various statistical methods, e.g. regression analysis were to be employed.

The job included participation in the company's external aid framework contracts in a wide range of fields including consultation in finance, public welfare, business, as well as health care and education - after conducting research on the subject and the country received in the Terms of Reference, the task was to find and assist external experts. Larger projects included researching Hungarian power-plants and high-powered laser research conducted in various Central-European countries. Work was conducted entirely in English, in an international environment.

The main objective of this project - OPS FS Baseline project - was to support the process of rationalizing C2 capabilities that are already fielded or are under implementation by applying NNEC principles and to support the management of implementation requirements to ensure service reuse and rationalization of data across Communities of Interest to support the defined Operational need. Other projects the inter worked on included assisting the ACO Space Working Group and the Situational Awareness & Interoperability Working Group, as well as drafting a business plan for a new NCOP-development.
