Responsible to work out with lighting proposals and detailed lighting designs based on latest application standards for both various indoor and outdoor application areas. Responsible to promote leadership image of the organization through innovative and creative lighting design schemes and necessary techno‐commercial analysis. Responsible to develop and maintain strong relationship with customers and M&E consultants which involve discussions with various authorities in promoting specific lighting concepts and related solutions. Responsible to work in close co‐ordination with sales personnel, account managers and product managers to ensure that latest lighting trends and key benefits of company products reflected in design proposals as a part of the Professional lighting group. Responsible to conduct illumination survey and audit and be engaged in commissioning lighting systems as demanded by various projects. Engage with M&E consultants, Project Authorities and Architects, in a meaningful way to generate Philips Specification. Specification and Design Success Rate – Achieve assigned spec. business through closely working with end users , specifiers and Philips Sales team, and creating iconic project references. To support P&I Sales development through technical support in transactional projects. To promote new lighting concepts and lighting systems including Controls to specifiers / end users. Responsible to provide lighting software training and products application training to the team, lighting consultant, M&E consultant and contractors.

Responsible to assist sales executive on application, technical part and site visit. Responsible to prepare JKR submission for street lighting project. Responsible to prepare a report for any project as required in term of energy savings, payback period, maintenance savings, comparison between LED & Conventional lighting and photometry. Responsible to prepare lighting design presentation, proposal presentation and payback period presentation. Responsible to generate Dialux simulation for street lighting and commercial lighting by following lighting standard/requirement. Responsible to design street lighting project, compound area, car park, indoor lighting and landscape lighting. Responsible to lead the testing and commissioning session (Illuminance & luminance measurement) at site. Responsible to lead Mock up and testing for lighting effect. Responsible to advice product engineering team and R&D for company product on the photometry, housing and etc. Responsible to approve new product design such as choice of housing/casting and etc. Participate on the Product Definition Document for R&D and Product Certification such as SIRIM and etc. Communicate with marketing department on the exhibition such and IGEM, lighting seminar, product brochure and company website. Work together with R&D department to produce good product in term of photometry and light distribution because of my capability to read the photometry and trace the weaknesses of photometry (Polar Diagram, K‐Curves, Isolux Diagram and Intensity table). Contribute on the Yang Ming Club House project in Wu Xi Shanghai for the interior and exterior lighting effect by using company products together with the Interior Designer from China and also the owner of the building. Responsible to provide lighting software training and products application training to the team, lighting consultant, M&E consultant and contractors.

Responsible to design lighting project for street lighting, highway, games court, compound, apron, hangar, toll plaza, interchange, multipurpose hall, tunnel, wharf, residential, sports centre, car park, factory, yard and others. Responsible to teach secondary school for mathematics, additional mathematics, biology, science, sivic and art & design. Responsible as a resource room teacher to manage all the teaching aids, syllabus, text book, past year’s examination papers, reference books and others
