Effectively oversee internal legislative operations, facilitate the legislative agenda, lead debate, and ensure adherence to parliamentary procedures during bi-weekly Forums. Serve on the Executive Board, chair of Forum Board, and chair of Board of Committee Directors

Actively representing the needs of all 20 At-Large Representatives on the Undergraduate Student Government Executive Board. Managing a team of 20 to ensure ALRs can represent their undergraduate student body to the fullest.

Was one of 20 At-Large Representatives voted in through an election process. Represented over 30,000 undergraduate students through voting on resolutions, letters of support, and more for the betterment of our student body. One of the few roles in the Undergraduate Student Government that holds voting power.

Interned for the two Representatives to the Board of Regents.

Assist peer and career coaches in aiding undergraduate students with resume building and career readiness work. Exhibit strong technological competence through scheduling appointments and drop-ins, managing staff schedules, and responding to emails.

Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase student engagement and organizational visibility. Coordinate partnerships with campus departments, student organizations, and community stakeholders. Manage external communications to promote events, initiatives, and professional opportunities. Support organizational growth by expanding networks and fostering collaborative relationships

Returning to the Urban Scholars program as a Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Intern with the State of Minnesota - Minnesota Management and Budget

Was the sole legislative intern for the Office of Senator Zaynab Mohamed, representing Minnesota’s 63rd District.

Keeping track of all internal and external communications. Effectively handling all scheduling for the team to ensure excellent deliverance on future events, aiding various underserved causes worldwide.

Was a canvasser for the House DFL for a new East African coalition, utilizing bilingual communication strategies to educate and mobilize voters, resulting in increased voter turnout during the election season.

Collaborated with the City of Minneapolis’ Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR) department to increase community engagement efforts within the city. Presented NCR’s comprehensive communications plan regarding civic involvement to the Minneapolis City Council. Assisted in increasing the presence of Cultural Radio & TV programs across diverse Minneapolis communities.
