I am a Moroccan journalist producing in English, with hands-on experience in journalism, digital media, and strategic communication.I began my career as a journalist and shortly afterward took on the responsibility of leading a media outlet, overseeing both its website and social media platforms. In less than three months, our digital views doubled, and they tripled soon after. On Instagram, the account grew from nearly 400 followers to more than 49,000 in one year. These results came through teamwork, building, guiding, and managing a team efficiently, from scheduling days off and leave to enforcing discipline when necessary.My role as EIC went far beyond managing a news website. I continued reporting while also handling multimedia production, supervising social media strategy, and stepping into each role when needed. At its core, the editor-in-chief position is about communication: delivering information clearly to readers, adapting storytelling from written articles to video content, coordinating with PR representatives, and maintaining constant communication with management and internal teams.
