Matt Farwell

I am a growth oriented leader with over 20 years of experience in institutional financial services and comprehensive outsourcing. I currently lead the down-market (SMB) portfolio of solutions including Payroll, HR, Retirement and Insurance Services at ADP and am responsible for a multibillion dollar P&L. Our team is dedicated to helping small business owners be successful by allowing them to maximize their most important assets, their people and their time. We focus on simplifying and managing all aspects of hiring, time tracking, payroll, HR, benefits and retirement for these small business owners and their teams. I joined ADP in 2002 and have spent the first half of my career in finance – learning the business from the inside out, and was hand-picked to move into an operational leadership role in 2010. As my career evolved into operational roles with increased leadership responsibility, I have remained grounded in my finance roots with a keen eye for leveraging data to make sound business decisions. I have a unique ability to combine strategic thinking, financial acumen and operational tactics to lead large organizations, drive top and bottom line growth and ultimately gain market share. I am passionate about constantly improving, driving innovation, finding new ways to solve problems, anticipating new industry trends and exploring new market opportunities to drive growth and ultimately create more value for the clients we serve. I have a proven track record of creating a work environment that enables teams and individuals to perform their best. This environment is anchored in our client centric culture, but emphasizes associate development/growth and provides freedoms to experiment, fail, iterate, and ultimately succeed.In addition, I am passionate about giving back to my local community and have volunteered and served as executive sponsor for numerous local corporate social responsibility efforts. While my roots are planted in the Midwest, I now live in Chatham, NJ with my wife and our two children. In my free time I enjoy getting outdoors and spending quality time with my family.
