Worked in a team of 6 to analyse Telecoms market trends, developing research reports and investment theses with a focus on superior risk-adjusted returns Researched companies and markets using equity research & annual reports and delivered industry pitch to Portfolio Managers, whilst defending theses Examined the emergence of 5G, IoT, wireless, fibre optic cables etc. and corresponding effects on telecom, OEM and fibre manufacturing companies, developing 5 theses, including shorting telcos, and OEMs, whilst longing fibre manufacturers Built complex financial models with focus on capex, working capital and cash flow to backup theses including upside and downside cases Delivered stock (long) pitch to Professional panel from JPAM, CAM, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Fidelity (up 15.1% at 12th April 2019)

I am in my fourth year of a Master's of Engineering Science Degree course from the University of Oxford. I have excelled in A levels and have a keen analytical mind, strong numerical skills, am highly motivated and enjoy working out problems through marshalling the available evidence into a succinct conclusion. I also have exceptional mathematical abilities including quickly grasping complex tasks and problems and can see patterns and quick methods for solving problems including experimental and data processing skills. I work well on my own as well as in a team.
