As the founder of our company, I have been privileged to lead and achieve numerous milestones alongside an exceptional team. My responsibilities have included defining and executing the product roadmap to ensure the beta version of Iron Panda 2 launched successfully ahead of the critical holiday season, Christmas. With the invaluable support of our product manager and team, we developed a comprehensive product backlog to drive key milestones and ensure timely delivery. I established and cultivated strong vendor relationships within the gig worker community, particularly on platforms like Upwork, enabling us to meet our goals efficiently and within budget. This involved strategic budget planning, crafting detailed job descriptions, and hiring skilled gig workers and product team members to support our product’s growth and expansion. I spearheaded the development of our organization’s internal pitch deck, which effectively communicates our growth and expansion strategies to potential investors. Additionally, I led our Kickstarter campaign from inception to completion, securing additional revenue streams for our flagship product, Iron Panda 2. In collaboration with the team, I defined the strategy and vision for product architecture and development across Android and iOS platforms. I also designed and implemented a robust cloud-based architecture leveraging AWS and Google environments, enabling seamless collection and storage of user data, game statistics, and custom properties from our global user base.

With the continued effort to grow Cigna's high-performing health service portfolio, our Agile teams are now a part of the innovative and flexible solutions, which is Evernorth. As the engineering manager for our Cigna Collaborative Care (CCC) provider vertical division, my continued role is pushing forward with new innovative solutions to deliver value to our customers. Our teams are working closely with data science, data analysis, and DevOps peers to deliver solutions quickly.

Data reporting provider for Cigna's Accountable Care (CAC) department with in D&A.

My main focus was to collect usage tracking information from our external content systems in our Analytics & Reporting Central (ARC) platform within Cigna's D&A department. Organized and collaborated across two teams on a successful Agile Release Train (ART). Implemented a data-driven framework to capture Tableau, Looker, and Cognos content usage(fact) to provide insight to our business partners.

I had such a great experience and self-improvement opportunity while working for SunEdison. Pre-interview, I let the team know I’m looking for a challenge, and they did not disappoint. Started in R&D where I spent 6-8 month improving my Erlang programming skills working with our internal Jabber engine (1st Gen. Twitter engine). I learned new routing technics and extended the data path capabilities to self-identify gateway IP changes (dynamic IP refresh), route gateway, and field device alerts from 1300+ gateways to our high-availability queueing solution (Rabbit MQ). Enhanced the data path to support new message payloads to update the gateway kernel and support roll-back; end-point service written in python, which sits on our message bus (wrapper class for the Linux D-Bus interface). Then I worked on the UI platform (Ruby on Rails) to incorporate changes that built new messages for gateway (site) provisioning and maintenance. A couple of years later, I moved to the advanced analytics team, where I had the unique opportunity to work on the latest machine learning algorithms and energy forecasting engines (working more intelligently). Architect the new platform code base and extended the capabilities, which removed a large amount of human intervention when checking for data gaps and reporting on-site availability (uptime). I then finished up the year working with the project development team and document management team to find solutions that better aid them in their day-to-day tasks.

I worked with the Avaya Voice Portal inbound/outbound call management platform. Created custom call flows so customers can speak (ASR) language lookup or select dial pad options for a given language. Create a TTS engine to generate prompt files which produce custom greetings for each custom setup. Oversee a cluster of systems from WebSphere 7.x app server, WebSphere 5.x Voice Servers, Avaya AES adjunct servers, Avaya MPP Servers, all on Linux Servers.

Mr. Ryan has been a J2EE Software Engineer/Consultant in the Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS). He specializes in web page customization, backend component development, database tuning, and training functional management roles for HCMS Services. Mr. Ryan’s skills include developing server-side components from Java enterprise beans, working with Java struts, and developing Java Web Services. In addition to his technical role, Mr. Ryan has experience as a business consultant and trainer. As a BC, he has excellent customer relation skills, public speaking ability, and numerous hours spent training clients about the HCMS they are currently using.
