To lead and manage all aspects of production at the production line from preparation area and press line. To manage the budget, Safety, Quality, Environmental issues, Housekeeping, employees, process, systems and contractors that provide service to production department. To provide leadership to the production team in order to achieve the objectives of the business. To enforce and comply with the Quality, safety and Environmental legislations of PG Bison. In summary to co-ordinate all production needs and priorities and in-line maintenance of board forming activities on a production line from initial stages up to the final finishing stage

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate with all other production lines, Engineering, and other support functions • To measure and report on production activities • To ensure the operation of machines within operational specifications • To achieve and maintain optimal productivity levels, to ensure all processes and guidelines are followed within operating area and ensure safety compliance • To promote a team based organization Environment • To support maintenance of the line • To control cost • To provide a safe and healthy working environment • To compile production figures and downtime reports and do reporting on management meetings • To do month end reports on production averages, Uptime, A Grade yields. • To compile monthly RMU (raw material Usage) reports • Check and control the stock levels of Timber, Resin and Wax daily • To do two weekly maintenance planning, and yearly shut planning • To sign off all the time sheets of this sections, Log yard, Preparation, Drying, Pressing and sanding line. • To fill open vacancies at my department • To conduct disciplinary hearings and also to chair disciplinary hearings • Conduct monthly safety meetings, monthly production meetings with shift team leaders • Liaise with central production planning on daily basis regarding products to be produced • Liaise with maintenance planning for job scheduling • Attend monthly Central safety meeting • Other monthly KPI meetings. • Looking after the contracts which are supplying services to the department

Production: Responsible for factory production and quality on shift as per budget 2 Quality: Manage quality of the boards produced during each step of the production process. Control raw material usage according to budget, especially resin consumption. Maintain Quality management system daily. Do board inspection to verify quality standards compliance and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken 3 Downtime: Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum by quick reaction and task delegation. Manage the breakdown call-out procedure and timeline of events. Ensure accurate downtime reporting. Ensure job cards are completed for all breakdowns and unsolved mechanical or electrical problems are logged on the job card system. Issue of spares out of the engineering stores after hours. 4 Safety/Housekeeping and Environment: Ensure safety of people and equipment by constantly verifying work methods and the following of the Isolation procedure. Ensure chemical spills are cleaned up and disposed off according to the chemical spill procedure. 5 Management of staff: Ensure shifts are fully manned and arrange cover and transport as needed. Manage all staff on each shift (e.g. disciplinary hearings, absenteeism, training and KPI’s) 7 Preventative Maintenance: Identify where maintenance is required and schedule so as to minimize downtime. 8 Management of Raw Material: Ensure compliance with specs to ensure product is within specifications

Purpose: ensure smooth running of process flow Plant Inspection • Check equipment and breakdowns • Measure solutions and flocculent Process Control: • Start up and shut down; monitor process Quality Control • Oversee sampling and conduct various tests / measurements / analyses • Reporting: shift log; shift end report; 24 hour production report Safe and Healthy Working Conditions • Issue work permits and ensure that PPE procedures are adhered to • Adhere to lock out procedures; conduct safety inspections and report safety

My responsibility was to ensure the smooth operation and process control of hydro carbon and synthesis reaction, Leading team of process controllers, adhering to safety systems and maintenance support of the section, leading and controlling of the personnel, in addition training and mentoring new process controllers, operating and controlling the process from control room remote control systems, ensuring the supply of enough feed to the downstream plants
