Designed content and communication strategy for WuXi's WeChat platform, which has grown from 10k subscribers to more than 700k. Quarterly readings exceed 3 million. - Provided industry insights for executive committee. Generated weekly reports for area of interest. - Assured WuXi's public communication free of compliance issues. Made compliance checklist and performed final compliance check for online forums, webinars, and other events to prevent any potential PR related issues.

- Manage WuXi AppTec's WeChat team by delivering trusted daily R&D news. Total subscriber number exceeded 360,000. "WuXi AppTec" selected as "Top 10 academic WeChat Account in 2016". "Global Academia" selected as "Top 10 academic WeChat Channel in 2018" - Participate in events organization by communicating with speakers, on-site logistics, and post-event communications. The events include WuXi Global Forum during JP Morgan Conference, and WuXi celebration during BIO.

Editor in Chief of WuXi AppTec's WeChat channel *Organized and led the 2016 Nobel Prize reporting group. Our report on the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was one of the earliest news in China. Presented my work in mini-symposium 'Hot Topics From Emerging Scientists - Cell Biology'​, in 2014 ASPB meeting, Portland, The title of the presentation was 'A Role for the Cellulose Synthase Like Protein, CSLD5, in Arabidopsis Cell Division'​ Connected with the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) and wrote the first bilingual blog post with Mary Williams to introduce how to prepare to work or study in the US, for international scientists.

Review researches on health or high-tech topics, propose the essential points to editors and introduce the discoveries to the public by writing accurate and understandable popular science articles. As a result, more than 15,000 people followed me on Guokr.com, the largest scientific social network with 3 million daily visits in China. Cooperate with Guokr to create popular science topics. A recent topic, ‘Do sunflowers move suddenly in the morning’, has been read for more than 200,000 times in Sina Weibo, and more than 500,000 times in WeChat. Translated a book <​DNA: A Graphic Guide to the Molecule that shook the world> into Chinese (375,000 words, ISBN: 9787115287861).

Characterized the role of CSLD genes in Arabidopsis cell wall deposition. Identified a temperature-sensitive allele for FERONIA.

Organized the Chinese New Year Gala and the Chinese culture show to introduce Chinese culture to students in University of Michigan. Hundreds of foreign students were attracted to these events. Established public pages for CSSA on Facebook and Renren.com. These were the first interactive online platforms to connect CSSA to local Chinese community and the average attendants to our events were then increased to around 1,000 people. Formed a group of 20 people to work as a bridge between the University of Michigan and two pairs of parents whose kids were killed in a car accident. We delivered the special wish from the parents to the University and convinced them to organize a candlelight vigil to honor the victims.
