Building upon and extending the reach of the Technology Product oversight in core Airline Operations to include all of it's diverse areas including Passenger Services and On-board Experience (Retail and Catering) while retaining the existing technology roadmap of the core pillars within Operations itself (Engineering, Flight Operations, Service Delivery and Network Operations).

Looking after a diverse portfolio of Airline operation systems (encompassing 1/5th of all Emirates Group IT technology products) which provides technology solutions to Flight Operations, Network Operations, Crew Management, Engineering, Group Safety and Group Security.

Worked with the ground handling businesses of both dnata and Emirates to enhance the critical aircraft turnaround function of the massive ground handling unit we operate in DXB including baggage handling, Aircraft turnaround monitoring, and hub monitoring.

Highlights of key initiatives I was directly involved with: • Migration of FZ (FlyDubai) Passenger handling to Terminal 3 (won Program of the year). • Enablement of Biometrics for Passenger Identification. • Study and assessment of SSK (Self-service Kiosk) and SSBD (Self-service bag drop) solutions for EK at Terminal 3.

Joined the newly formed EmPact programme - an Enterprise initiative to modernise and upgrade the core Passenger Services platform. My work was primarily related to Airport Systems with a special focus on Disruption Management of Passengers at the Airport and Irregular Operations (IROPS).

Working on Projects across the Group Services Division with a focus on Human Resources, Learning and Development (E-Learning) and Corporate Communication (Passenger & Visual Systems).

Working in the Corporate Business Improvement Division. Responsible for leading all strategic change initiatives and ensuring their business objectives are delivered.

Leading the efforts of aligning IT Application Development with Business Requirements. Long term plans include structuring the Application Development Process, Modernization of in-house Applications, Focusing on strengthening delivery of meaningful solutions and internal consultancy to the Business in all matters related to IT (ERP, Intranet, Project Management etc).

Responsible for complete Requirements gathering, Analysis and Service Design of all “New Services” requests to Tatweer Corporate IT from Tatweer Corporate offices or any of its subsidiaries including Dubailand, Tiger Woods Dubai, Mizin, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai Industrial City, Global Village and others. Reports directly to the Sr. Manager Service Delivery. Example of work output produced included (but not limited to): - Business Case - Business Requirements Specification - Feasibility Analysis Report - Functional Specifications - Project Charters - Process Diagrams - Service Level Agreements

Responsible for overall Customized Application Development, Process Improvement & all associated Project Deliverables of the IT Software Development Life cycle in the Gulf Region (covering 3 subsidiaries & 6 physical locations). This spans several business units & functions. Directly reports to Regional IT Manager. Key Projects and accomplishments included (but not limited to): - ERP Administrator for Region and Super User/Consultant for Order Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service functions. - Development of Regional Enterprise Pricing Application - Legacy mainframe modernization via Web based Self Service Reporting. - Regional Sales Forecasting and Analysis tool (won Best Six Sigma Project award for 2007 and provided quantified savings in excess of USD 300,000.) - Numerous Workflow Applications (bespoke applications). - EDI with Third Party Warehouse - Business Intelligence Reporting for Six Sigma Projects Improvement. - Process Mapping of Demand Management Software and complete Administration of acquired Application. - Creation of reports for Finance (Month end, Year end etc).

KalSoft Arabia were known as I.P. Technologies during the time I worked with them. Their primary objective was providing bespoke solutions via software outsourcing and consultancy. Responsibilities: • Played lead role in performing client Requirement Analysis, Pre-Sales Analysis, Solution Definition & Development of complete Functional Specifications. Also documented business objectives and functional requirements. • Assisted in pre & post sales support & developed complete Project Proposals in response to RFP. • Ensured business requirements were accurately captured and, through active participation in the entire life cycle, that the proposed solution delivered expected business benefits. • Defined end-to-end business automation needs & coordinated with vendors to manage & implement these needs. • Conducted interviews with management and operating staff for requirement gathering.
