Shadowed Dr. Stockburger at his practice, Oyster Point Smiles, to learn about and gain exposure to the general dentistry profession. Observed application of knowledge, perceptual ability and manual dexterity, team dynamic, and patient interaction.

Two-week rotation with Dr. Hsu. Worked alongside and observed Dr. Hsu, an oral surgeon at her own private practice, and associate at both True Oral Surgery in Irvine and APLA in Los Angeles. Gained exposure to dentistry from a surgical, residential, and business perspective. Followed the doctor through consultations, post-operation appointments, and surgical procedures. Learned to take vitals for patients, and practiced appropriate patient interaction to ensure their comfort in the clinic. Took a Basic Life Support course recommended by the doctor and got certification.
