Lead the provision of sourcing materials and services for all SAIBC affiliates turnarounds/shutdowns/emergency, leveraging SABIC buying power to ensure a cost effective, timely processed, localization in compliance with the best tendering practice that’s’ meets SABIC procurement policy. Continuous Improvement: • Analyze performance of existing systems, processes, people, perform required upgrades, and ensure corrective actions are taken • Continuously look for opportunities to make the function’s processes more efficient and its savings performance more effective. Staffing & Development: • Plan section’s staffing needs in accordance with HR guidelines • Collaborate with HR on employee transactions, training and skill development of section’s workforce • Conduct appraisals and create development plans for all direct report to the position • Drive section’s recruitment, performance management and career development in order to attract and retain best talent • Lead in assuring the completion of assigned IDP

Lead a number of projects/contracts to help with the achievement of strategic purchasing objectives. Responsible for the management of the supply of a commodities, support the growth of the business by developing long term synergies in the Purchasing function. Responsibilities: - Solicits bids to procure a variety of required services, negotiates and administers contracts. - Conducts basic procurement procedures and technique - Assists with contract termination procedures. - Presents factual information; composes memoranda, minutes and reports; and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents. - Solicits sources of supply and analyzes prices, discount rates, delivery dates, transportation charges, previous performance, commitments and indications of financial responsibility and recommends the most advantageous offer. -Define and manage a detailed plan for each assigned contact.

- Fully responsible for managing global vendors database in SAP Global Vendor Master. - Identifying new qualified suppliers and vendors that can add value and meet SABIC future requirements. - Evaluating the current supply base for major commodities as well as developing the new or existing suppliers. - Generating detailed performance and use supplier segmentation methods to produce reports and utilizing the opportunities in optimizing the supplier base. - Initiating & develop new effective communication tool to manage all suppliers' requests automatically with all GPS.
