I have Studied Applied Linguistics in depth. I have done courses that are Key branches in the study of Applied Linguistics, such as: English Phonology, English Semantics, Discourse Analysis, Descriptive Linguistic Analysis, English Syntax, and Sociolinguistics. This is in addition to Literature and Language Teaching, Issues in Applied Linguistics, and Research Methods in Applied Linguistics. As partial fulfilment of requirements for the Master's degree in this major, I have completed my MA thesis titled (Pragmatic Communicative Strategies of Persuation in Shakespeare's 'Richard III'). In my thesis, I applied pragmatic theories to two major scenes in the play in which the character (Richard) is persuading others through language, answering the question: How did Richard use language to persuade? Activities and Societies: Acted in two Shakespearean plays: 1- Macbeth (as Ross) 2- Richard III (as Duke of Richmond)
