Server/SAN Architecture o Manage, support and monitor the server env, VMs and storage (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows and Linux server support) o Ensure server integrity e.g. checking the servers error logs and resolving issues, as well as backup monitoring on servers and client systems o Networking, network design and configuration, including firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, o Security - Cloud, network, and data security, including firewalls, protocols, policies, good practice. o Manage, monitor and report performance, advise and implement updates, updates and interventions to ensure service delivery through regular monthly reports o Manage and maintain the Institute’s physical and virtual network o Administration of AD, Active Directory, Exchange and printer services o Implementation of cloud-based computing using AzureAD, Exchange 365, Office 365, Windows 365 and virtual servers and desktops o Upgrading and patching network appliances (firewalls, switches, VPN) o Configuring, deploying and managing HP, NetApp IBM SAN storages o Network Audit & Patching o Ensure the availability, security and scalability of our IT services platform delivering our services roadmap o Developing and managing SharePoint content for different departments and the Institute’s Intranet o Installation, management and troubleshooting of hardware including HP, Dell, and Cisco UCS servers, Storage Area Network (SAN), Cisco switches and routers, Cisco and Juniper firewalls o Issue resolution and escalation to supply chain and other third parties EUD software and hardware support and knowledge: o Mobile Devices for email (iOS, Android, Blackberry) o Windows desktop/laptop (10, 11), Mac OSX o Applications: Sophos, SCCM, Sophos, JAMF, Windows Bit locker o User/Device management tools: ManageEngine Desktop Central, Self Service Plus, ADSelf Service, Active Directory o Leading installs and upgrades of office application suite and antivirus

• Provide foundational infrastructure (Design, Deploy and Support) for public cloud (compute, storage, network) • Provide user-friendly cloud onboarding, account creation and management for supported cloud providers • Provide cloud network services to enable a fast and resilient hybrid cloud with built in security capabilities
