Fifty-five percent of the portfolio consists of income generating properties, which produced an average yield of 8.2%, more than 70 basis points over the industry average. • Investment & Acquisitions o Participated in the acquisition of the USD $315 million Yotel Times Square Hotel in New York, of which Kuwait Real Estate Company owns a 40% stake • Assisted in negotiating the terms of a $280 million offering that consisted of a debt/mezzanine syndicated loan involving Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Centerbridge Partners LP and Atrium Holding Company o Directed the divestment of a portfolio of agricultural farms in California that had been held by the company since 2006, achieving 98.76% of the appraised value, which resulted in an internal rate of return of 17.8% per annum • Farms were sold for a total of USD $14.46 million • Proceeds were rolled over to a 1031 exchange to facilitate the deferment of capital gains taxes o Acquired a Shariah Compliant loan for the development of Yotel Heathrow Terminal 3 in London for an amount of GBP 4.9 million (USD 7.6 million) o Oversaw the divestment of a portfolio of non-core listed holdings Kuwait Real Estate Company held to clean up the balance sheet and make the company more attractive to market investors • Asset Management o Managing a portfolio of USD $600 million consisting of income generating and development properties as well as listed and unlisted holdings in various companies o Managing an income generating property portfolio of USD $330 million, yielding 8.2% per annum

Provided analysis to determine entitlements, consider zoning issues, review general due diligence, generate preliminary plans, prepare cost estimates and budgets, and quantify investment returns. • Completed Operating Forecasts, Sales & Marketing Recommendations, and strategic deal recommendations • Participated in the acquisition, through a joint venture vehicle with Dubai-based master developer Nakheel, of two prime properties of land located adjacent to the Atlantis Hotel on the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah • Managed the execution of real estate acquisitions projects totaling over USD $200 million • Identified and negotiated new opportunities in order to minimized the cost of acquiring both operational and green-field real estate Initially seconded to Bangkok to perform a complete management audit on the operations of the publically listed Thai real estate developer ,Raimon Land PLC. The audit resulted in the removal of the existing management team, the appointment of a new CEO and a complete restructuring of the company’s operations and debt obligations that resulted in its first operating profit in over three years. Assigned to project manage construction on the SAR 400,000 (USD $70 million) Fairmont Zimbali Resort which had been stalled due to a contractual dispute with a previous contractor since August 2009. The project was completed and delivered to the operator as planned, in time for the 2010 World Cup. Development manager on the $100+ million Kempinski Al-Abadiah Hills development located in Lebanon. Developed a practical approach to construction with a constant eye for controlling cost and finishing the project under budget without diminishing quality.
