Comandante di Plotone Carri Armati "LEOPARD". Ho preso parte a ripetute missioni di ordine pubblico e anti mafia: operazione "VESPRI SICILIANI". La presenza dell'esercito fu resa necessaria in appoggio alle normali forze di polizia dopo la tragica serie di eventi che insanguinarono la Sicilia agli inizi degli anni novanta, ultimo dei quali l'assassinio del giudice Paolo Borsellino e della sua scorta il 19 luglio 1992.
