Joined Speedy.io to build the company’s local operation in Brazil and support the introduction of its financial management platform into the Brazilian market. Led the setup of a multidisciplinary local team spanning engineering, product, compliance, finance, marketing, HR, and administrative functions to support the company’s expansion. The core product was a financial platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses, focused on invoice issuance, payment flow visibility, and company cash flow control. In parallel, also supported the local adaptation and commercialization of the company’s payment gateway, including the integration of Brazilian payment methods and its go-to-market strategy for companies connected to the online gambling industry. Worked in a hands-on leadership role, combining company building, market entry execution, cross-functional team leadership, and product adaptation for the local market. Played a key role in establishing Speedy.io’s presence in Brazil and enabling both product and payment operations for the market.

Joined Ventures Lab to build and lead a Brazil-based engineering team for an online gambling platform serving both proprietary brands and third-party white-label operations. Built the local team from scratch and took full responsibility for hiring, onboarding, technical training, and engineering leadership. Worked in a hands-on leadership role across architecture, delivery, and team development, helping integrate the Brazil-based team into the broader software engineering operation. The team focused primarily on the administrative platform, payments, and live betting, contributing to both ongoing platform evolution and new product development. Led the delivery of a new user management module and a live betting solution built from the ground up. Reported directly to the CTO, combining engineering leadership with hands-on technical execution in a distributed environment.

Worked as an IT consultant, bringing senior expertise in the online gambling industry to support critical technology initiatives. Advised the company on key areas including Betradar integration, integration homologation and certification, and bonus engine design and implementation. Also provided broader technology recommendations to help strengthen the platform, improve operational readiness, and support product evolution in a highly specialized iGaming environment.

Selected through Crossover’s competitive global hiring process to work for Aurea as Chief Software Architect. Served as one of the technical leaders responsible for evaluating acquisition targets and leading their integration into a centralized operating and technology ecosystem after acquisition. Led end-to-end technical assessments of potential acquisition targets, analyzing architecture, codebase, systems, and overall integration complexity to support acquisition decisions. Led the due diligence process from the technical side and produced reports for senior management covering company status, risks, and integration considerations. After acquisition approval, led the technical integration of acquired companies into a centralized ecosystem, while supporting the broader consolidation of operational functions to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Combined formal technical leadership with hands-on architectural evaluation, M&A due diligence, and post-acquisition integration execution.

Joined Command Alkon, a multinational software company serving the construction industry, to build a development team in Brazil and support growing demand for mobile products. Led a distributed team across Brazil and the United States, working on high-performance projects with extensive system integration requirements. Defined system architectures and contributed to the Information Security team, combining software delivery responsibilities with security-related initiatives. Managed AWS environments and worked with microservices and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda. The technology stack also included API Gateway, Kinesis, Elasticsearch, ElastiCache, and Redshift. Supported engineering quality practices through unit testing, end-to-end testing, and continuous integration with Jenkins. Served as CTO for Diverso Games, a social games startup, with responsibility for all technology areas across the business. As part of an early-stage company, contributed to strategic planning from the outset, including financial and budget control across projects. Led infrastructure, software development, database, and release management, combining technology leadership with operational oversight. Also participated in UI/UX design discussions, project feasibility analysis, architectural definition, and cloud environment planning on AWS. Worked with a technology stack including AWS, SQL Server, MongoDB, Java, .NET, Unity, AS3, Redis, Jenkins, Trello, Jira, and Git.

Served as CTO Latam for Betboo.com, part of GVC Holdings (Entain), with responsibility for all areas of technology across the regional operation. Led infrastructure, database, software development, and release management for a high-activity online gaming operation, with strong focus on performance, high availability, and operational resilience. Managed a team of approximately 30 people across Brazil, Uruguay, and Ireland, combining technology leadership with business strategy, cost control, and growth planning, including OPEX and CAPEX analysis. Played a key role during the acquisition process, acting as the main technology point of contact and supporting financial audit and strategic evaluation activities. Led the company’s in-house iGaming platform, which supported the core business and included integrations with casino, poker, and sports betting providers. Worked closely with key industry partners such as Playtech, Evolution, Betradar, Betgenius, and payment providers including AstroPay. Maintained ongoing commercial and technical alignment with third-party providers and strategic partners across the gaming and payments ecosystem.
