• Lead the Corporate Finance & Treasury Team in Brazil (cross-divisional for CropScience, Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health). • Define and steer cash flow strategies and plans for all divisions and entities in the country. • Lead the structuring of CropScience Customer Financing tools (FIDIC, Barter, etc.) mitigating risk while optimizing divisional cash flow. • Protect divisional results by implementing (hedging) strategies to reduce F/X and Commodity exposures. • Develop and promote talents across the organization. • Lead strategic cross-border / -functional projects and Consortium operation. • Steer institutional relations with bank and financial suppliers adding value to divisional needs. • Represent Bayer’s financial interests in the company’s Pension Fund. • Steer local Insurance processes guaranteeing compliance and maximizing efficiency.

• Overall cross-functional and cross-country project steering for the implementation of a novel and globally integrated Consortium for CropScience in Brazil aiming at improving customer experience, enabling access to new technologies and charging models as well as ensuring a financially efficient steering. • Lead the different cross-border workstream (e.g. Finance, Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Supply Chain, IT) to ensure coherent, precise and timely deliverables. • Lead the Financial Workstream for the CropScience SAP S4/HANA (ERP) implementation. • Promote a collaborative and open environment ensuring adequate know-how sharing.

• Lead the Risk Management Team in China and APAC. Member of the CFO LT. • Establish and develop the newly created Risk Management Function in Greater China (and APAC), including staffing and positioning the new Function within the organization. • Foster and facilitate informed decision making by structuring and executing complex (financial and non-financial) risk assessments in a cross-functional, ambiguous, and highly dynamic environment. • Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative business models, ensuring achievement of business goals also long-term. • Reshape existing processes, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and digital solutions, ensuring acceptable risk exposure while increasing efficiency and employee acceptance.

• Lead the Bayer Leadership Team and act as Legal Representative towards different chambers of commerce, embassies, governmental entities, and the production plant union. • Enable business in the areas of Crop Science, Consumer Health, Pharmaceuticals and Animal Health, ensuring target achievement and balance between short and long-term goals. • Full responsibility for the local Country Platform, including the design and implementation of local and global solutions to foster business growth and adequately manage platform quality/cost. • Steer countrywide measures to ensure a constructive and productive working environment including office and two production plants (Crop Science and Consumer Health). Achieved Great-Place-to-Work certification for the first time and Top 10 Employer in the country.

• Team lead for global business audits ensuring constructive communication to auditees and audit managers. • Manage resources, conflicts and time constrains within audit team and towards auditees, ensuring best-in-class deliverables.
