.Direct the selling of goods and services by assigning territories,setting goals and establishing training programs for the organization .designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence .managing the cost of events (food cost, operations cost) .Reporting directly to the general manager

◦Demonstrate financial accountability in costing the operation cost by managing budgets and financial reports to ensure financial targets are met ◦Plan and execute over 100 events, including weddings, birthdays, engagements, conferences, venues cocktails, and other special events ◦Schedule meetings with guests by visiting the location before every event to ensure a smooth and successful event execution ◦Conceptualize and organize parties and special events, including menu selection, table setting, and decor ◦Assist in managing the catering events while supervising staff to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction ◦Manage stock inventory and assist in day-to-day operations of the office catering department, including menu planning and food preparation ◦Report directly to the General manager while supporting the sales department by booking new events and negotiating contracts ◦Coordinate and manage staff for banquets events, including waiters, hostesses, chefs, stewards, and material stewards, and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained ◦Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services ◦Conduct staff training programs to improve service quality and customer satisfaction ◦Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and policies

◦Sell menus to clients and negotiate food and beverage prices to maximize revenue while remaining within budget ◦Organize and coordinate events, including planning event details and aspects such as seating, dining, and guests ◦Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venue to ensure a high level of service quality ◦Create reliable financial reports and collect payments in a timely manner to ensure proper financial management ◦Manage events and address potential problems that may arise to ensure seamless event execution ◦Plan for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event and take proactive measures to mitigate risks ◦Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events, including weddings and other special events ◦Sell and service resort to wedding clients, increasing the number of weddings with a positive contribution to the business ◦Review wedding sourcing platforms and marketing opportunities to ensure continued growth of qualified wedding inquiries ◦Respond promptly to all wedding inquiries in a professional manner, assisting clients on options best suited to both the couple’s needs and the resort’s successful operation while providing excellent service. ◦Conduct all site visits and follow up with potential clients to secure business while employing excellent communication and listening skills to qualify clients and grow conversion of leads ◦Prepare accurate proposals, cost estimates, and contracts, while working closely with the accounting department to provide proper documentation to prepare deposit and payment estimates ◦Share important client information with all applicable departments/staff on-site and during contract turnovers ◦Participate in sales/marketing/operational meetings to keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices ◦Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and early morning hours and holidays, modifying hours as needed
