I worked as a Trading Agent for a major confectionary company that imported products from Russia into Turkmenistan. I had an assigned segment of Ashgabad city to distribute to and I worked with a partner to deal with different superstore chains on the sale terms and conditions such as volume, price and possibilities of selling on credit. I learned to negotiate with different types of people and also developed my teamwork through co-operating with my partner.

For a couple of weeks, I worked for the sole distributor of the "Iveco Fiat Group" vehicles, mainly trucks imported from Italy. My task was to help organize the stand for TurkmenExpo 2009 in Ashgabad city at Sergi Kosgi Convention Center to pitch sales to large-scale investors such as construction managers and railway builders. (Tender issued by government) I learned a lot from seeing executives negotiating unit price depending on the volume of the order and the nature of the request. I organized that all product handouts were printed and ready. As well as that, I was responsible for greeting and welcoming investors into the exposition booth and talking to them about the various products on offer.
