My foundation year has provided me with a strong grounding in various art and design principles, and I have developed skills in drawing, painting, digital design, material manipulation, professional presentation skills and more I am particularly passionate about textiles and am keen to explore this field further through hands-on experience. My coursework has equipped me with proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator and I have applied these skills in several academic projects.   I am looking for a job/experience in the interior design industry because as a textile student, I feel incredibly passionate about the idea of working in the interior design industry because it gives me the chance to bring fabric to life in a meaningful way. For me, textiles are more than just materials they're a way to create mood, identity, and tell a story within a space. I love the idea of using textures, patterns, and color theory to influence how people feel in a room. There's something so fulfilling about seeing my creative choices have a real, emotional impact. In interior design, a curtain isn't just a curtain it can completely transform the energy of a space. I’m excited by the idea of my work becoming part of spaces that people live in, connect with, and make memories in. It feels like the perfect place to blend creativity, function, and my love for textiles.
