ICLP is a three month immersive summer study abroad program for Chinese Literature majors to increase language proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. As a result of this program, Evelyn's language proficiency has increased from Intermediate Low to Intermediate High/Advanced Low. She hopes to attend a capstone year in China, where she will work and study alongside native Chinese students in her field.

Evelyn participates in various student clubs, most notably Pre-Law Society and CRAASH. She is also part of Hunter College's Thomas Hunter Honors Program, which invites dedicated students with at least a 3.65 GPA to participate in interdisciplinary studies with a mini major that is in a different field than their major. In this case, since Evelyn is double majoring in two humanities, she mini majors in Political Science. Because of her interest in law school, Evelyn is also interested in philosophy. So she has taken Writings of Plato, Sources of 20th Century Contemporary Thought, and will be taking Topics in Evolution of Human Social Behavior: Evolution of the Social Thinking in Fall 2016.
