Commodity Manager for Mechanical Parts

Set operational instructions for the team in accordance with the different strategies defined and the objectives to be achieved. Define operational priorities and coordinate the research for the alternative solutions, client communication during part number crisis and escalate the hot topics to the suppliers. Coordinate AOG activity with centers (Miami & Singapore), conduct operational reviews (SRM & SMM) with ATR’s partners (Airbus & Leonardo) and with the suppliers of ATR for the AOG process, ensure operational link with worldwide warehouses, analyse AOG performances and report to the management

Manage the order backlog concerning AOG and Centers (Miami & Singapore) PO, focal point for all ongoing Leonardo orders, dedicated client crises follow-up, supplier performance and reliability follow-up for ongoing orders, manage the specifications for Local Manufacturing.

Create and follow the purchase request for structural spare parts. Manage the request and the link with Italian suppliers

Create and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) for all direct purchase categories. Contractual negotiations and challenging outsourcing cost reduction

Quality inspection and non conformities validation (DQ1) program A350XWB, validation of non conformities design analysis (T200), technical focal point to the offshore team in India (manage priorities), communication with Airbus and Quality team

Design analysis of non conformities (T100) and DQN program A350XWB (metallic and composite parts, central section), technical support to the production team

CATIA 3d modelling of composite panels destinated to the Aircraft nacelle and produce 2d plans
