* Main tasks: * Maintenance activities planning both daily and weekly; management of human resources, tools and equipments. * Supervision of employees. * Re-organization and management of warehouse goods. * Drafted the management manual of employee safety at work, and periodic control of the main parameters. Recording of the audits’ report.

* I was in charge of the lean principles applying to the manufacturing process of an injector component. In particular: * I analyzed the as-is state of process in order to identify any problematic areas. * I selected and developed the best solutions (Kaizen) to reduce the wastes. * I planned steps for implementing the Pull system and designed the future state. * I calculated savings and benefits caused by kaizen implementation.

* Process analysis by the Lean-Six-Sigma practices: * current state analysis of three processes * statistical study of collected data * evaluation of process improvements such as the logistic reorganization of the warehouse and the sending of the pick list in order to prepare the load in advance.

* Main tasks of my role: * monitoring and managing the logistic KPI dashboard. Identify and control the trend performance in orderd to anticipate possible issue; * big data analyzing * costs and benefits analysis of improving solutions * support new projects ensuring clear and effective communication to other functional departments regarding logistics activities * Drawing up technical requirements for the vendor selection * Maintaining suppliers relationship in daily management, checking their activities and monitoring of SLA.

* Supermatic Spa is an Italian vending company operating in Tuscany, Liguria and Lazio. Its business consists of the snacks and drinks distribution and the assembly/repair of vending machines. My work concerned: * Peripheral warehouses management with inventory control through the JDe software * Reporting of performance index of warehouses * Vega software management: users profile administration, data export by the SQL language, design of custom layout for displaying data within Vega masks * Internal training courses: from the editing of teaching material to the call of partecipans until the presentation of contents * Technical support in projects affecting the Vega software * Periodic analysis of processes to evaluate more lean working solutions

Thesis on the developing of an algorithm for optimizing the manufacturing industries layout. I used the software Dephi to develop the work. * Dissertation title: “A modified harmony search algorithm for the flexible-bay facility layout problem”.

Dissertation on implementing the Pull system in Continental Automotive Italy Spa – Pisa. I elaborated the thesis according to the internship experience in Pisa plants of the Continental Group. The initial process analysis was supported by the Value Stream Mapping method and eVSM software, an important tool for the graphic representation of the process, but also for identifying the suitable lean solutions to reduce inefficiencies. The report also included a comparison among the pull system, Syncro-MRP, and CONWIP in order to select the most appropriate technique. * Thesis title: “Implementing the Pull system in Continental Automotive Italy Spa – Pisa”.
